Aloha, and welcome to your first session. A surf lesson with us starts off with meeting at one of our surf breaks, either Chuns reef or Puaena point beach park which are just a few miles apart from each other here on the north shore of Oahu. This will be discussed upon booking depending on wave height and conditions that day. At check in we will get you guys signed in and geared up with our premium equipment including the right size long sleeve rash guard and surfboard. Now we head to the beach for some fun.
Our land demonstration is approximately 20 minutes long where we go over the fundamentals of surfing, everything you need to know about getting up and riding waves, ocean safety and ocean etiquette. You will be surfing with one of our highly experienced surf instructors who have lifelong knowledge of our oceans for many generations. All of our instructors are also all up to date with lifeguard/CPR and AED certifications to ensure you guys are in safe hands. After we answer any questions it’s now time to head out for some fun !
We differ from any other surf school on the island because we guarantee you will be standing up and riding waves on your first lesson or your money back guaranteed.
Now time for some surfing! The remainder of the time we will be riding waves and putting to use what we jus learned. Surf next to sea turtles and ride the best waves of your life with this experience that will last forever. We have a 100% success rate here at North Shore Oahu Surf School and our goal is to provide the best lessons on the island and also ensure you a fun/safe environment while doing so.
